Dallas Paleontological Society fieldtrip to
North Sulphur River, Fannin-Delta County,  Texas
12 Nov 2005

The lengthy North Sulphur River is a prolific fossil hunting location with fossils from the Cretaceous Period up to more recent Pleistocene Period. One can find mosasaur, ammonite, shark, mammoth, sloth and bison fossils in the same trip!

On my first trip I found many baculites segments, a few shark teeth, and few possible mosasaur bones.
