This day me and Roz hunted 10 spots around Mansfield and Fort Worth, some are
not shown here. First stop shown here was the Eagle Ford formation "Mansfield Pit" which had yielded SO many pristine shark teeth in the past. Unfortunately the area is now under construction and the heavily eroded ridge that the teeth came from has been totally flattened and the dirt moved elsewhere. We only found a few battered teeth. Next was a small Pawpaw formation exposure east of Fort Worth. Nothing of note was found. | ||
Next was a large Fort Worth formation exposure north of Fort Worth. Here are some large echinoids, large oysters, pectens, and ammonites. | ||
