This is a fossil field trip to a creek outside Arkadelphia, Arkansas.  The geological strata is the late Cretaceous "Ozan Formation".      Video Clip 1 ... Video Clip 2

Also found in this creek were several pieces of Indian artifacts such as possible flint scraping tools and an excellent arrow head.

On Sunday July 29th Me and Roz hunted a shark tooth spot on the Ouachita River and a dry spot closer to Malvern.   The geological strata is even later Cretaceous (near Tertiary); the Arkadelphia formation.
