Pawpaw location, Tarrant county, Texas
Jan. 1, 2008

Today me, Roz, Roger, and Frank hunted a Pawpaw Formation exposure in Tarrant County, Texas.  We got permission to hunt on this exposure from the people who lease the land.  Most of the finds were small but there were many shark teeth and crustacean bits.  Me and Roz visited this site previously on Sept. 16, 2007.  Unfortunately not many actual fossil pics this time, it was too darn cold by the time we left to take pics.

Here's some of my best finds:
Crustacean claws
Cidaris echinoid spine
Engonoceras ammonite mold
(preserved in stone with pyrite? traces)

The creek that runs next to exposure .  These pics are from the Sept. 16, 2007 hunting trip.
