Duck Creek Formation

Today a group of geology students from Wisconsin explored an abandoned limestone/shale quarry.  Here they found several large shark centrums (vertebra) and an excellent Mortoniceras sp. ammonite.   Me and Roger Farish (Dallas Paleontological Society) led them into the quarry.  Eventually a scientific paper was published in 2015 on the shark centrums.
