| Today I explored an area in NW Tarrant County, Texas in the Kiamichi Formation. I found an amazing example of a thin limestone bed that looks like a cobblestone road and a rare Oxytropidoceras diazi ammonite. This Oxytropidoceras species only occurs in the Kiamichi Formation. | ||
