Today Me and Roz hunted a Mingus shale formation exposure
out west. We found lots of "Petrodus" dermal denticles and
other goodies. It is unclear if "Petrodus" denticles come
from one species of shark (or ray) or several. See also our Feb. 2, 2008 fieldtrip. |
