Today I explored two older localities that are very productive.
The first location is a road cut that exposes the Palo Pinto Formation.  There are no fossils here.

The second location is an exposure of a very fossiliferous section of the Winchell Limestone.

Crinoid basal cup
Crinoid basal cup (same)
The third location exposes the Placid Shale (or Colony Creek shale).  This is a location where I previously found many large sponges possibly of the genus Heliospongia.  The main goal of this stop was to collect more pieces of the previous sponges.

The fourth location location is a small but a very fossiliferous locality.
