Today Me and Roz hunted a spot around Dallas county, Texas
and a couple spots on way back. |
The first spot was in an undeveloped part of the county
where the Eagle Ford formation is exposed.
Roz had the best luck here and found several Ptychodus shark teeth. |

This particular spot used to have lots of ammonites
(in septarian nodules) but has been hunted out. |

Along a dirt road we find a limestone layer but not sure if
it's the Kamp Ranch layer. The only thing we found were black carbon
nodules. |

After this we visited a cut that exposes the Austin
Chalk formation. Here you can really see the faulting. |
