28 Jan 2024 My fossil hunting partner and best friend Roz Morgan passed away on 20 Jan 2024 after a long battle with COPD.  As a tribute I am rebuilding (and expanding) her old website Fossils of Arkansas.

Dec 25, 2007 I redid some of the coloring on most of the geological maps.  I harmonized the formation colors for formations that spread across multiple counties.   I finally added the missing bottom part of Collin county (that part was on a separate sheet covering Dallas).

Sept. 9, 2006 Found a pterosaur lower jaw. I am told by experts it is from an "Ornithocheirus" pterosaur.
